You can read about how we got started and how we kidz benefit from taking part in the training programmes and media activities, but best of all how much fun it is to be part of the first national children's radio station and media organisation.

We are lucky to have Takeover Radio the National Children's Radio Station broadcasting on the Internet and, since March, 2002 on FM across Leicester on 103.2fm. This means that once we have been properly trained we can go on to present our own programmes on a full time radio station.

We also publish Takeover Radio's very own magazine, Re-tune, published quarterly and we look after this and the .com web site.

Over the next few years we will be setting up media training cells around the country so thousands of other kidz can come along and enjoy the experience we all have. We will also be producing a schools pack to be sent out to primary and junior schools so they can become our school of the week and produce interactive lesson plans based around the media trusts activities. Our Education Co-ordinator can give you more information on our schools page.

We are also offering work experience for 15 to 18 year old from across the country and the world, if you would like further information go to a work experience page.
