Takeover Radio Children's Media trust is the children's media organisation offering training, life and work experiences to young people residing in the UK.

The Charity teaches young people how to work together as a team, the need to archive deadlines and produce work to the best of their abilities. This builds their confidence, planning and organising skills, improves their communication skills and in some cases teaches them how to express themselves without the need for phyical or vaerbal abuse.

They are taught by professional adults in the radio, media and press industries the necessary skills in radio production, journalism, Web site Design and Video production.

Some of the young people are taught to produce and present radio shows which are aired on Takeover Radio the UK's only Children's Radio Station on 103.2fm across Leicester and the world on the web.

We also publishing a quarterly magazine 'Retune' that the young people write, research and produce, they even take the photos.

Look at some of the groups and charities we are already working with. We are looking for funding organisations to help us fund the charity and other charities with the same or similar aims.

Our big plan is to expand our activities to other parts of the country so other young people can take part and enjoy the experience of hearing themselves on the radio or reading an article they have written.
